La zone A est alors composée alors des villes suivantes Poitiers, Dijon, Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Grenoble, et Limoges. Les académies qui font partie de la zone B sont Strasbourg, Rennes, Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Caen, Lille, Nice, Rouen, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, et Orléans-Tours. Pour la zone C, elle rassemble les préfectures de Versailles, Paris, Créteil, Montpellier, et Toulouse.
La répartition des vacances durant l’année scolaire
Une année scolaire dure environ 10 mois en débutant en septembre jusqu’au mois de juillet. Les vacances durant les cours s’étendent de quelques jours à deux semaines environ. Les grandes vacances sont plus longues. Les élèves disposent d’approximativement deux mois. À Noël et chaque saison, ils bénéficient de ces jours de pauses. Il y aura des décalages pour chaque date de début et de fin pour chaque zone et donc également au niveau des villes.
